Breaking Dawn Charity Quilt: Midnight Swim

“Everything was black-and-white, leached colorless by the moon.”
–Bella Cullen, Breaking Dawn page 83

Design and piecing by Kate

This is one of my favorite scenes in the entire saga, so it was most important to me to get the basic essence of the moment.

Sigh, a midnight swim on a honeymoon sounds wonderful right now. I like the muted colors and fabrics you chose and that you did the silhouette in light colors. It's lovely and really captures that part of the book!

Exactly as I pictured it! Love the shimmery effect of the fabrics as well. Great job!

I love that you made the silhouettes the light and the rest dark. YOu captured that scene exactly!

when you were throwing out ideas for this I couldn't really picture it. but I really like what you did. the two silhouettes are distinct and I really like the pieced background. it adds alot of interest.
